sql db connection problem

i am facing problem with sql db ,

i installed application in other system with database but its giviing error like this

Hi siddu

Its actually a simple problem to solve, it occured many times for me.

solution:
just type services.msc in start menu and click the icon.

Then you will get the screen like above, just ensure that marked services has started. if not started ,just right click the service and click start.

Once the required services started, you will get the solution.

It may have couple reasons:

1. Make sure that server, database, username, password is correct
2. Make sure that SQLServer is running mode. Check command services.msc and search for SQLServer. It should be in running mode.
3. Make sure that you have access to database server. Sometimes firewall block your request.
