Below is simple controller which is using Redis cache -
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Web;
using System.Web.Mvc;
using StackExchange.Redis;
using StackExchange.Redis.Extensions.Newtonsoft;
using StackExchange.Redis.Extensions.Core;
namespace WebApplication1.Controllers
{
public class HomeController : Controller
{
private static Lazy lazyConnection = new Lazy(() =>
{
return ConnectionMultiplexer.Connect("localhost");
});
public static ConnectionMultiplexer Connection
{
get
{
return lazyConnection.Value;
}
}
public ActionResult Index()
{
IDatabase cache = Connection.GetDatabase();
cache.StringSet("username", "Mykeyvalue");
string username= cache.StringGet("username");
return View();
}

}
}
Here you can set username to cache and retrieve it from cache.
