Start without debugging

I created a windown application in visual studio 2010. The application built successfully but when i clicked on "Start without Debugging" so as to see the output of the application, the application refused to run. That is nothing display on the output.

Please what can be done.

what if you do ctrl+f5
or close and reopen visual studio and then run it again?
