Store and Retrieve connection string instate of web.config

Hi Friends

 

My Name is Sameer, I have a question about the connection string, generally, we put a connection string into web.config file.

 

But Most of the time interviewer asked me, Where do you place/retrieve connection string instated of web.config

 

 

I don't have an answer to this question, Please help me anyone has an answer of this question
