Hi Billa,

You can use the trim function to remove leading and trailing white space or other characters from the given string .

Eg :
$string = ' This is an example string ';
echo trim($string);
Ref :
http://php.net/trim
http://www.paulund.co.uk/remove-characters-at-start-and-end-of-a-string-in-php
