string removefilename = dirName.Substring(0, dirName.LastIndexOf("\\"));

int index1 = removefilename.LastIndexOf("\\");

string folder = removefilename.Substring(index1 + 1,( removefilename.Length) - (index1 + 1));

Hi you will get the folder name from directory info

try this

           FileInfo fInfo = new FileInfo(@"D:\AD\folder1\abc.txt");             String dirName = fInfo.Directory.Name;



Here I'm getting name folder1 in dirname;
