Supress SelectedIndexChange

How can I supress this event? I want to be able to validate an item if it passes then selecte new item, if it fails then supress the event and current item is still selected.

yes you can do it in this way. May be you can try out. Unsubscribe the event if the condition is not met. In the condition clause add this. this.comboBox1.SelectedIndexChanged-=new EventHandler comboBox1_SelectedIndexChanged); Hope this helps. Thanks HSSR
