i using asp.net with c# coding

i have to check text box validation in run time.

if total qty 1000, i restrict the user not entered more then 1000

Incidentally, if you would be happy with a maximum quantity of 999 rather than 1000, then a better solution would be to set the TextBox's MaxLength property to 3.

Try this:

protected void TextBox1_TextChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
int num;
int.TryParse(TextBox1.Text, out num);
if (num > 1000) TextBox1.Text = "1000";
}
