Text format ,from DB (where the XML is Already done in DB)

the entity frame work could not map to temperary table and xml

so retrive the data from xml in sql and insert into a table .then 

Retrive the data from the table using ado.net 

Thank you all for the reply ,Im using ADO.net Entity Frame Work , I have my StoredProcedure called into the Entity FrameWork. But when i call the Store Procedure i GEt method i get error in browser and I'm running in localhost

And Get method returns only XML and JSON i need plain text. I have attached my ScreeknShots please go through and suggest. 

 

PS : I have the XML created in DB itself by FOR XML type , i have saved that query as a StoredPRocedure and calling it in my WebApi Get method.  

once you have XML from DB, you can get values from node using Linq for XML.
