Textbox capturing Date from DateControl

Dear All,
I have textbox for capturing date.
Im going to insert it into the Database.

My requirement is when the focus comes into the textbox the Datecontrol should be Display beside it & when the date is selected from that conrol that date should be captured to textbox.

I need to go for JQuery & how it will be?
