TextBox In DataGrid

Hi !! I have a datagrid, the first colum contains fields, ie. col names, from the db and in the second colum i want to have textboxes aginist each field. I dont want EditCommandColumn, b'coz that is not what i need. If anybody can help, pls do. Regards, Saurabh.

Declare ItemCreated event for the DataGrid. In the ItemCreated event, add this code: if(e.Item.ItemType == ListItemType.Item || e.Item.ItemType == ListItemType.AlternatingItem) { TableCell cell = e.Item.Cells[1]; cell.Controls.Add(new TextBox()); }
