Error: The application was unable to start correctly

After installing the mongodb setup

we have to run mongod.exe using command prompt

but when I execute the command I get an error message

"THE APPLICATION WAS UNABLE TO START CORRECTLY (0XC000007B). CLICK OK TO CLOSE THE APPLICATION"

I google the error and do every possible thing like reinstall DirectX, c++ redistribution, persmiisions but still facing error

Please does anybody have the solution?

if i change the version without ssl then another error disply after the installation "error parsing command line : unrecognised option 'ssl'

hi,

Kindly check your version whether its 32 bit or 64 bit. if your machine 32-bit windows os you should download and install the same version.
