The code from the solution i got on generic list does not work on web applications?How do i make it work

Looking back through your posts, I imagine you must be referring to this thread(http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/Forums/Thread/118650/how-do-i-navigate-between-records-in-a-generic-listwith.aspx).

The reason that the code in that Windows Forms thread doesn't work in an ASP.NET application is because the value of the private variable rowIndex is not preserved between callbacks to the server. You have to save it yourself - say, in Session state: 

protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)

{

   if(!IsPostBack) Session["rowIndex"] = -1; // store initial value first time page is rendered

}

protected void btnNext_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)

{

   List objlist = objprod.get_all_products();

   int rowIndex = (int)Session["rowIndex"]; // recover current value from Session state

   rowindex++; // increment it

   if (rowIndex >= objList.Count) rowIndex = 0; // start at beginning again

   txtProdName.Text = objlist[rowindex].propProduct_Name;

   txtPrice.Text = objlist[rowindex].propProduct_UnitPrice.ToString();

   txtPrice.Text = objlist[rowindex].propProduct_UnitPrice.ToString();

   txtCoName.Text = objlist[rowindex].propCompanyName;

   Session["rowIndex"] = rowIndex; // save current value of rowIndex back to Session state

}
