3-tier Architecture in C#.net question

Hey there, i was wondering if this is possible in a 3-tier to have multiple BAL but only a single DAL and PLA?
since we are building a school system in our group and we could then use the advantage of beeing able to code on 2 different bals

In my opinion you can freely have three entities in application tier as long as communication between tiers remains the same. This means that interface which application tier exposes to presentation tier remains the same regardless of internal structure of application tier.

and about that its because i have many different inputs in a tabcontrol in my windows form. and i just wanted to seperate the bla layer so we could be multiple people on the programming part

In that sense, the only change to your picture would be that three lines above BLA entities and three lines below would be merged into single lines, and all BLA entities would be encircled into one solid tier - in that case BLAs would only be its internals.

can u please elaborate that,you dont have to show code just eplain to me in bigger pieces what u mean :P
