time interval in window service

hello all ,

i have a window service for sms/ emails in c# . my service is running for 1 minut time interval . but its not working for 24 hour interval . please help me . thanx in advance .

try this :
Timer timer = new Timer();
protected override void OnStart(string[] args)
{
timer.Elapsed += new ElapsedEventHandler(this.timer1_Tick);
timer.Interval = 86400000;
timer.Enabled = true;
}
