To change default.Html page to default.cshtml page

cshtml file as 'set as startup page'. in mvc by routeconfig file

public static void RegisterRoutes(RouteCollection routes)

{

routes.IgnoreRoute("{resource}.axd/{*pathInfo}");

routes.MapRoute(

name: "Default",

url: "{controller}/{action}/{id}",

defaults: new { controller = "Login", action = "SignIn", id = UrlParameter.Optional }

Hi.

you can't do that. But you can call that view from your Action method Controller and after that the View page can be displayed in the browser.
