transfer numeric contents of textbox1

I want to transfer numeric contents of textbox1 which also contains alphabets into textbox2 . What is code for this?

I have a textbox in which text and numeric data both are residing just like address and phone no. and i only want phone no in another text box please tell me coding for this?

If the phone number will always appear last in textBox1, contain no spaces but be separated from the address by a space or spaces, then you can do it easily with:

if (textBox1.Text.Length > 0)
{
string[] items = textBox1.Text.Trim().Split(' ');
textBox2.Text = items[items.Length - 1];
}

Otherwise, you'd probably need to use a regular expression to extract it from the string and we'd need to know the precise format of the phone number (can it include parentheses, dashes, spaces etc.) in order to be able to write one for you.
