I have to transform a very large xml document to html form and I have no idea on how to start the whole process. Help on the matter please as i am getting my xml from an xml field in the sql server.

It seems like it is encrypting the xml when it saves it and then when i retrieve i need to be able to decrpyt it and then change back the tags that were changed by saving

First try to find where it as adding < to your xml
Second why it is happening

Thirdly come back with your input I can suggest you something. But be specific and clear to your answer.

Could You Please guide me on how to go about it when retrieving and saying the file so it saves like a regular XML File

Your XML data should like below

But instead of that your code is converting < to < and > to >

So one suggestion will be when you are saving XML just replace the char and save it proper one.

How should i go about doing that? cause when I pass it to the div tag it shows in correct format

Your XML data is not correct in format. It is encoded to HTML tag element like < as <

So xslt is not able to read XML tags properly. Please make correct in XML it will start working.

You can transform xml data to xslt format to data display in multiple ways:
