Transparent textbox (please help!)

Well, for some reason unknown to me, TextBox and RichTextBox controls are in the group of those few controls that don't normally support transparent backgrounds. Do I possibly need to override the On_Paint event? And how would I do this? Thanks

go to background ->Web tab and select transparent

Hi, Actually, I should specify. I need a RichTextBox to have a transparent background. Does anybody know how I can do this? I really appreciate your help.
