Triggering a Controls event

Thanks but I think that I wasn't explaing it right. I have a C# application. I have actually figured it out. My problem was that I was trying to trigger my Controls parent OnDoubleClick event. But there is not alot of documentation on it that I could find atleast. But to solve the problem all that I had to do was call the parent controls delegate OnDoubleClick(e); Yeah I am trying to make my Custom controls trigger the parent control events on it's parent. But it turned out to be alot easier that I thought. I guess that we all have stupid days. Thanks for your reply.

Hi, Do this. Assuming you have a button control called cmdSubmit. Look into the code behind under the Windows Forms Generated code. type this. this.cmdSummit.DoubleClick += // will show something here, press tab .. autogenerate you the full code to as below: this.cmdSummit.DoubleClick +=new EventHandler(cmdSummit_DoubleClick); //within the eventhandler argument, it will prompt you to press tab then it will generate the code as below: private void cmdSummit_DoubleClick(object sender, EventArgs e) { } Hope it helps.
