Unable to add content type "Link To a document" to library

Hi,

I am trying to attach a "Link to a Document" content type to a document library of a subsite in sharepoint 2013 on premise site. But I couldn't because throwing a error.I have tried to attach the same content type to a library in root site throwing same error.Below is the error image and error we found but no idea of the error:

Can you please list out:
Major fields in your content type?
Type of document library you are trying to attach this content type to?

Hi,

Just one quick thought, please check content type once, if there is atleast one field in content type or its empty.

Hi Manikadan,

I have done with "Allow Management of content types" as "yes" then only i tried to add from existing site content types, after that only i faced the above issue.

i need to add this content type in subsite,when i did ,i got the issue , so I checked with parent site, same issue i faced.What can be the possibilities of this issue.

Select Yes for "Allow management of content types", then select OK to save your changes. From the Document Library Settings page, select Add from existing site content types. Choose Link to a Document from the list on the left, then click Add, then OK to add the content type.
