Unable to add the user to one web application.

I am using SharePoint, total we have 4 web application, on three web application i can able to grant the access but for only one web application i am getting below error.kindly have a look and advise me on this.

" No results were found to macth your search item. Please a new term or less specific term".

Hi,

You can restore the FIMSynchronizationService database from backup and once you reset it, It will start working.

Hi ,

Thanks for your response.

I have verified the user profile service application is not working on one server, I tried to start the that service but it did not start it showing starting(stuck) so i went and checked FIM, FIM synchronization service the synchronization service is not running , I tired to run but getting the some error.

Could you please help on this.

We are using NTML authentication. no difference between web application and no customization and also this test environment. please help me on this.

what authentication Method is being used on 4th web application?

Is there any differnce between 3 vs 4th web app?

Do you have any customization?
