Unable to debug the Dotnet application, without debugging working fine

Hi All,

I am trying to deveop an application with Visual Studio 2019 windows app with C#. I am facing an issue with debug couldn't run it, simply execute and close the applicaion. When I see in output window `The program [13088] app name exited with code `an invalid handle was specified`.

Please suggest me asap. I have tried to change debugger properties change and all I didn't get it.

Make your VS to more verbose to find out errors in details to do so:

Tools → Options then Project and Solutions → Build and Run section. You have a combo box for verbosity.

then you may find valid excpetion, could be due to VS admin issue as well.

Hi Jignesh,
I don't have Administrator access to my system. I am using with normal user privileges.

To open Visual Sudio `Run as Administrator` is it mandatory?

Hi

I think some setting problems . Try to check the settings of the project .

Check the configuraion from configuraion manager of build menu
If it is Release try to select Debug from the combobox

1=Right click on the project click on properties.
2=check startup path and debug ect ...

Have you check you that Debug option selected As below screen?
Are you running your visual studao as Administrator?

I have gone through you menitoned links, all the Debug settings correct only. Still I am not able to fix it.

Please suggest any other solution.

In project properties->web->debuggers, native debugger was checked. After unchecking that and building the project, the application was able to debug, hitting the break points.
