I agree with the first part. No body knows the answer :).

One cause of unanswered questions is that no one knows the answers for some of them. Anotehr cause is that many questions are vague. I sometimes ask for clarification but after spending many years and seeing many thousands of questions (In CodeGuru.com, the MSDDN forums and here) I have learned that it is sometimes futile to ask for clarification.
