Unmatched ID from table using linq query

Hi,

i have a senario like compare two tables in (table1 and table2) and return the unmatched Id from table2 in linq query.

Hi Lokesh,

You can use following code, if you are comparing two datatables
var qry1 = datatable1.AsEnumerable().Select(a => new { MobileNo = a["ID"].ToString() });
var qry2 = datatable2.AsEnumerable().Select(b => new { MobileNo = b["ID"].ToString() });

var exceptAB = qry1.Except(qry2);

DataTable dtMisMatch = (from a in datatable1.AsEnumerable()
                           join ab in exceptAB on a["ID"].ToString() equals ab.MobileNo
                           select a).CopyToDataTable();

You can start with storing the content from master table
so it should be something like,
var lstMasterTable = EFcontext.MasterTable.Select(x=>x.ClinicalComponentID).ToList();
var lstResult = lstEncounterTemplate.Where(obj=>!lstMasterTable.Contains(obj.ClinicalComponentID)).ToList();
// this list would only contain items
//for which ClinicalComponentID doesn't exist in lstMasterTable list.

Hi Patel,

table1 has this columns => EncounterTemplateComponentsID,EncounterTemplateID ClinicalComponentID,IsActive,CreatedBy,CreatedDate,ModifiedBy,ModifiedDate,Sequence

table2(Master table) : has this columns =>ClinicalComponentID,ClinicalComponentName

here i need to return the result as unmatched ClinicalComponentID.

here need to take EncounterTemplateID as input in our query=> inserted ClinicalComponentID should match with master table ClinicalComponentID and return the unmatched data.
