upload data from excel sheet

guys i want to create an excel sheet having columns xyz and that excel file i want to upload in my asp.net interface and when clicked on button the records in the excel should in saved in the database table.

im not working on entity framework or MVC.

You could use Spire.XLS to easily export data from worksheet to a datatable.
//Create a Workbook object
Workbook workbook = new Workbook();
//Load a file
workbook.LoadFromFile("data.xlsx");
//Get the first worksheet
Worksheet sheet = workbook.Worksheets[0];
//Export data to datatable
DataTable table = sheet.ExportDataTable();

Here you have to divide your work in 2 parts.

1. Read the excel file using c#. For this you can refer to this article

2. Once you have data then you can build a dataset datatable and dump it into SQL table using this
