Visual 2010 - Don't get contents of master page in all pages

Hi,

When you create the master page it will have the two sections called contentplaceholders.

1) Content place holder for header

2) Content placee holder for child pages

You can design the common functionality required for you web page in id called head.

The another place holder called contentplaceholder1 is editable area to child pages.

If you create the web page which inherits the master page will show some thing like

<%@ Page Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/General/MasterPage.master" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Default3.aspx.cs" Inherits="General_Default3" Title="Untitled Page" %>

The id which has head is non editable area to the child pages. If you do not have any content then it will be empty. If you have header or navigation menu then it will show at run time in the child pages.

You can have your required page design in the following content place holder.
