Web API error "No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin"

hi Team ,

When I Call webAPI from post man or Chrome browser then I got result.

but same API call from HTML then It will give error ''No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://localhost:47503' is therefore not allowed access.

Ajay,

You have to enable CORS (Cross origin Resource Sharing).

This is because your web api is in another domain and your web client consuming web api is in other domain. For example if your API is hosted somewhere like "www.Ajay.com" and the client domain from where the API needs to be consumed is "www.mukesh.com" in that case web api needs to enable cors .

You need to enable CORS in WebAPI to access through Cross-Domain. Please visit below link that will help you:
