I think its not more tricky just create http request and hit on url.pass parameter if required.
just try and let us know if any issue.

It can be done very easily in a Windows Form Application using WebBrowser control.

Never tried using a WebBrowser control without an UI component. Essentially you get the document completed event and in that the entire html of the site you visited.
