hai,

when im hosting my website to a server im getting error in web.config as,

"It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS."

how to resolve this issue???

Check you application pools in IIS and make sure you are using the correct one based on your application (.NET framwork, authentication, etc.)

To make a virtual DIR as Application, there might be an option on right click your virtual directory under IIS and select the context menu saying "Convert to Application". Then you may need to restart the IIS
