what are the usage of using store procedure in ASP.NET?

I mean while I am writing queries which are somehow advanced I face some gaps which I could't figure out and solve them so I need a few sources (books or websites) in order to fill the gaps and create store procedures with strong queries.

There are some advantages of using stored procedures.

1. Stored procedures are not complied every time. When you create SP it is complied and stored in database. So when execution time is decreases.
2. Once you can create SP you can use it number of time. You don't need to write same query again.
3.It is better to avoid Sql Injection attacks.

In order to avoid SQL attack, which is similar like hacking database and data, we use SP(Store procedures).

SP are like naming your SQL Query and then use the name in your ADO.net code. Which actually talk to the database and finds out the SP and then run the definition declared to that SP(which is set of queries).
