What do you think is the future of blogs when there is ChatGPT ?

In my opinion, it has huge potential for now and in the future. Technologies are evolving every day, new products, tech, frameworks, libraries, and many more. ChatGPT needs more and more data sources to train its models. Furthermore, ChatGPT won't be able to answer on its own. It requires data sources. So we should write more blogs sharing our knowledge, doing projects, sharing issues and resolutions, experiences and thoughts, ideas, and so on.

Furthermore, we need more contents, examples in new tech stacks. 

Yes, obviously, take advantages of ChatGPT to compose your content.

Yes, There would be drop, still the latest technologies should be dependent on the blogs. As the expert shares his/her knowledge with the community about the latest trending one, ChatGPT/Google Bard may not be able to answer so specific as the expert does. I think, there would be still need for the blogs for the referal purpose.

Yes. I think so. Since most traffic on blogs comes from Google, Google searches for technical content will slowly disappear because tools like Visual Studio or VS Code or online editors will already have search features powered by AI. I don't need to go to Google. Even these tools will take any content from the website and show it directly in these tools.

YES! There is a huge drop on blog and other content websites like C# Corner, Stack Overflow, and others. 

The communities will continue to evolve since they foster not just blogs or articles but also learning and updates on new technologies, collaboration, ideation, and more. 

Some unique content that is not absorbed by AI will still get traffic. 

Windows now has OpenAI integrated with it. So, I can direct search in Windows. I don't need to go to Google or other search engines. Skype, Teams, Office, Azure.. they all will have OpenAI integrated in it :)

Junior-level coding will also disappear. AI will slowly start building my simple applications and over time, it will also build complete applications. For example, soon, I should be able to as Visual Studio to create a basic user registration screen with its backend database with certain fields.

However, the new fields will continue to evolve. Remember, Generative AI can only help you based on the content you already have. New fields will not have content or too much data. 

I could see huge drop in blog views, we can make the content more in a practical and interesting way. It might keep the audience engaging with us particularly.
