Filter in stored procedure. No need to bring all items to client or server. Suggest to have pagination so that response will be small.

Hi Nandini,

If you are dealing with large number of records then you should go with server side filter. Its recomended because when you are dealing with large number of records then if you fetch all records at one go then you might face performace issue.

If you implement server side filter then only necessory records load in inmemory and will take less load time.

If there are billions of records then definitely server-side filter/pagination is recommended.
