What is code refactoring

            Refactoring is a process of describing and simplifying the design of existing code without changing its behaviour.

  

   For Example: Calulating the average of the student using C program.

    
 

      Observe the Program it contains three disadvantages 

            1.It uses number of conditions are increasing the level of identation.

            2.It  needs to be exercised to match the corresponding if 's and else 's.

            3.It needs to be exercised to match the corresponding pair of braces.

      

      By using the code refactoring this can be reduced by the 

 By comparing both the programs the second one has two advantages they are

            1.The lines of the program reduced.

             2.There is the change in the coding structure but it dows not change its behaviour.

           code refactoring is used in the Agile development to improve the code readability, to simplify code structure etc..
