what is difference in .net core web api vs api vs mvc api ?

.net core is runing both windows and linux , all .net core projects are for both paltform. if you are talking abt .net core api and mvc api, that is just difference of MVC pattern.api is kind of server side logic where you have empty api without any UI logic.
