What is IOT importance

IoT means Internet of Things, roughly you can say smart devices communicating over internet.

 

Internet is not limited to computers and smart phones, but there are some "smart" devices as well like wearable tech (wrist bands, smart watches, etc), smart ovens, smart fridge, etc and many more.

 

You make them connected to internet, and they can send, receive and process messages and commands, that is IoT, in the simplest terms.
