What is Pesticide Paradox ?

It means that the more times you run a set of tests on a particular piece of software, the more resistant the software becomes to your tests since problems are fixed as they are found.

Running a suite of tests is like constantly challinging the "immune system" of your software. As long as the tests are running, the problems found by the tests are addressed on an ongoing basis. Stop running the tests and the immune system weakens and disease in the form of new, unnoticed bugs, starts creeping in.
