What is SPEC standard?

You need to be more specific about SPEC.

Lol! I think he is asking about a standard Software Requirement Specification document standard and templates. I work with so many companies and every company has their own standard template/document. I have yet to see an industry standard document.

As per my knowledge SPEC is a non-profit corporation formed to establish, maintain and endorse a standardized set of relevant benchmarks that can be applied to the newest generation of high-performance computers.

TBH, I'd never heard of it before but I think it must refer to the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation and its benchmarks for high performance computing:
