hey, can anyone tell me what is the difference in constant time and linear time?

for constant, the time required does not depend on the input size. For linear, doubling the input
size doubles the required time to process it.

Constant time is when the algorithm does not depend on the size of the input. Linear time is when the algorithm is proportional to the size of the input.
