what is the meaning of int is not incompatible with date?
this error pop out when i tried to update a date in vb.net,anyone have any idea on this?

Hi,
Generally this error because of you try to insert an int value to the date column.
make sure your inserted date is compatible with date time format of SQL
And also put single quote (') before and end of the date.
Ex.
Insert into (id, created_date) values(3, '2015-03-14')
