what is the current trend in web application and what is the status about MVC in market now?

I have a slighly different opinion. MVC is not a technology, just an architectonical pattern that is used to build web apps. You can use in asp.net, Java, PHP, ... I doubt the clients really care what pattern is actually used to reach the goal.

But when it comes to web apps demand, I think it's on a rise and this trend will continue.

        trend means G, Both application are good condition in the market. Lot's of project already running in web application. come to your point MVC is latest technology compare then web application. But we can say at this time MVC Boom in the market.
