What is utility class ?

I am surfing a lot but i didn't find any single article, afterso long i came to know that it is a class which have some common functionality. Can anyone explain it in a brief and how do i add in a web api.

For any answer would really appreciate....!!!

Hi Abhishek,

Utility classes are predifined classes which has been created for developers.

Example : "Microsoft.Interop.Excel.dll" is microsoft predifined classes which is provided by microsoft.

Using that you can read,write and split the excel sheet.

You can also create your own utility classes.

Utility class is normal class which provides a collection of helper methods you can use to configure settings for string manipulation, export import, file read write, security, collections, driver manipulation, time, and idle CPU usage
