What method should use to copy data in data table?

Suppose there is two data table as

td1=td2

If some data has remove from td 1 but we have to copy all data from td1 to td2.In this scenario which method we will implement to copy the data from td1 to td2.

Try with below code:

DataTable dt = new DataTable();
dt.TableName = "Books";

// Column1
DataColumn dc1 = new DataColumn();
dc1.ColumnName = "BookID";
dc1.DataType = typeof(int);

// Column2
DataColumn dc2 = new DataColumn();
dc2.ColumnName = "BookName";
dc2.DataType = typeof(string);

// Column3
DataColumn dc3 = new DataColumn();
dc3.ColumnName = "Author";
dc3.DataType = typeof(string);

// Adding all columns
dt.Columns.AddRange(new DataColumn[] { dc1, dc2, dc3 });

// Adding rows
dt.Rows.Add(new object[] { 1, "Book1", "Author1" });
dt.Rows.Add(new object[] { 2, "Book2", "Author2" });

// Cloning DataTable1
DataTable dt2 = dt.Clone();

dt.TableName = "NewBooks";
dt2.Rows.Add(new object[] { 1, "Book3", "Author3" });

//this line merge dt2 with dt
dt.Merge(dt2);

Hi Sandeep,

Do you want unique data after appending?

Secondly do you want to simply combine both the tables or the records which are not present in td1. Please specify.

Dear Sandeep,

You can use the append command for copy data from TD1 to TD2, if table contents are same.
