As far as my knowledge goes, one must have a Master's degree to survive.
All said and done, a CV with masters and work-experience will be given more preference than a CV with Diploma and work-experience.
If possible, go for a full-time master degree from a reputed university.
If time permits, you can do part-time job.
After masters, you can choose your field - job, business, etc.
