Hi, JWT Token based authentication is best and most use in industry. Besides this, other authentication are:

-Basic Auth

-Windows

-OAuth

-TLS

-Form Authentication

-External Authentication

I would suggest to authenticate with token, this is best option, specifically JWT authentication.

Alternatively, use manual authentication or third part app but that will be complex to handle.

for intranet environment you can use windows authentication

but for internet web app , Oauth is best.
