Which is the best WPF or Silverlight?

Hi,

Currently am working on web-application project. I want to learn some latest technology like WPF, Silverlight,WCF. Which should match with my career and which one give more job oppertunities for experiance peoples.

Why am asking, WPF is for windows application, Silverlight for web based applications thats y..

Pls give ur suggestions.

WPF is parent of silverlight.
In silverlight we can data access throught WCF not ado.net.
