i am developing one new product in Dot Net MVC. Which is good for that Entity framework or ado.net .for what?

Hi,
Entity framework is always be good. because by you can perform data label operation very easily by linq

1. First time EF loads metadata into memory, that takes a time. It builds in-memory representation of model from edmx file, or from source code if you are using code first. Actually EF is build at the top of ADO.NET, so it can't be faster. But it makes development much faster. And improvesmaintainability of your code.

Both of framework have pros and cons.
if you are developing a product based project then i highly recommend you to entity framework. entity framework have some performance issue.
if you are developing a service based project then you should go for ado.net

use entity framework.it is good and inbuilt features .
ADo.net have some more performance though
