who is Architect in IT Field?

@Subhash, I will still not add "coding skill". S/he might have done coding in the past hence knows what is possible and what is not. S/he is not expected to actually write code or even expected to help developer if s/he is stuck. 

 

However, architech is very well aware of changing technological landscape (ever since s/he has stopped coding) and knows which tools and technologies to put together to provide a solution to a business problem.

I think the architech is the one puts things together and does most of the plumbing job.

 

Hardware / software requirements. How application layers talk to each other. Protocols, Separation of concern. Performance implications. Return on investment. Choose best appropriate tool for the business problem to solve, etc.

your question is simple but answer is difficult beause roles and responsibiltiy of Architect is depand on compnay, but in basic languag if i defind the architect is person who having number of year of exp and who has sharp knowlage of  OOP's, Desgin patterns, SOLID.

and who has always quick solution of problem.
