why we are using file io stream in c# and what is the purpose of the file io in real time mode

The usage of file.io is used to perform input output operations on a file For Example : Suppose in a program i want to create a text file and append the value like "Hello Angular.js". So for dynamic of file we need to use File class which is part of namespace File.IO; We will create a text file like FileStream fs =File.Create("fileName"); This above line creates a text file. All files operations like Opening the file. Closing the file. Appending the data to file. Deleting the file is done by File in File.IO. Hope this helps.

In addition to what Chetan has said:

Seeking knowledge for purely academic reason wouldn't help much.

Primarily because .NET is literally an ocean of classes and namespaces and we wouldn't be knowing many in much of our career. For example, as a business application developer, so far, I haven't used System.Drawing namespace at all. Strictly personally, I really won't be making any attempt to know that namespace in any depth till such time as it becomes necessary.

Similarly, any details that you want to know about the System.IO will be known to you when you have the necessity to do so. At that time, you will have the "real life" usage of those namespaces at hand because that's the reason you are studying it in first place.

Hi Ramakotaiah, There are plenty of articles and blogs on file operations available online with code examples. MSDN is the best source of it. Even C-sharpcorner would have articles about file operations. Please help yourself and search on google. Please do not expect people here to do even google search for you. Posting issues here and getting readymade answers and solutions will not teach you programming for sure. Happy Programming.

Reflections on the question.

This question is the classic example of abstraction gone to it's extreme.

1/ We code in IDEs like Visual Studio, which does all the disk I/O of source files, binaries, resource files, etc.

2/ We use databases like SQL Server, to store data. We either don't know or we don't care where it stores it.

3/ We use GitHub / svn for source control which has it's won UI.

4/ We right click in Windows Explorer to create any type of file.

5/ In web-development, we push bit arrays to client and browser at clients end writes to the disk.

So in summary, one of the very essence of computing, the very basic knowledge required just a few years ago to be in the field is just completely unknown to the modern day developer.

The more complexities we are hiding more dumber we are becoming.

this one is used to file handling.there are some fetaures.
1.create file folder
2.read...
3.write
4.search folder or file
5.delete
6.copy
7.move one place to other

if you want impliment any one in your project ,you have to use using.system.io

File IO is for doing input output operations on any file, like reading it's content, writing, etc.
