Why we use Monitor in threading

Monitor Provides a mechanism that synchronizes access to objects. A monitor is a set of multiple routines which are protected by a mutual exclusion lock. None of the routines in the monitor can be executed by a thread until that thread acquires the lock. This means that only ONE thread can execute within the monitor at a time. Any other threads must wait for the thread that’s currently executing to give up control of the lock.
